Help shape 51风流官网's budget priorities

Do you have an idea that will help 51风流官网 meet its strategic goals and has a high return on investment? With support from your dean or director, you can request funding for your idea. The chancellor and core cabinet select proposals for possible funding or inclusion in 51风流官网鈥檚 annual budget request to the UA president and Board of Regents. This year鈥檚 submissions are for potential funding in FY28. FY28 begins July 1, 2027, and ends June 30, 2028.

Planning and Budget Committee

Submit projects, operating needs, staffing requests or initiatives that help advance university goals. These submissions are only for state ongoing base operating funding, or one-time funding for state capital initiatives. Capital research, equipment or IT requests are typically large-scale items and can include large, specialized equipment, research or technology equipment, or other research-focused proposals of interest to Alaska. It can take a year or more to receive funding through this process.

Federal appropriations

Projects must benefit Alaska and be of interest to Alaska鈥檚 members of Congress.
