The office of Undergraduate Research & Scholarly Activity (URSA) is 51风流官网's resource for the development and promotion of experiential learning activities that engage undergraduate students to support 51风流官网's goal to become a leading student-focused research university.
Undergraduate research and creative activity at 51风流官网 covers all disciplines, from climate sciences to music, engineering, anthropology, life sciences, art and theater.

2024 Summer Student Project Awards
Applications open January 16, 2024.Undergraduate students planning to pursue creative projects or conduct research during the Summer 2024 semester are invited to apply for Student Project funding up to $6,000 for individuals and group applicants.
Accepting applications January 16 - February 25, 2024.

2024 Innovative Technology and Education (ITE) Awards
Applications open February 5, 2024.ALL undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, full time faculty, and staff requiring technology-related equipment and/or software for student-based instruction and/or research are invited to apply for an URSA Innovative Technology and Education (ITE) Award of up to $5,000.
Accepting applications February 5 - March 10, 2024.

Rolling AcceptanceApply Today!Travel funds support students presenting research or creative activity outcomes at a conference, meeting or congregation of their peers/professionals in their respective field, as well as students partaking in competitions.
Virtual event registration fees are also eligible for funding.

Rolling AcceptanceApply Today!Undergraduate students with confirmed unpaid or minimally paid internships are invited to apply for URSA鈥檚 Internship Award.
Internships Applications are eligible for up to $3,000 for a Fall- or Spring-term internship or $6,000 for a Summer-term internship.
Students must have a secured opportunity in order to apply for funding.

2024 Research and Creative Activity (RCA) Day
This annual event allows students to showcase their scholarly experiences from the current academic year through posters, presentations, creative displays, and public performances. Both URSA-funded and non-URSA students are encouraged to participate. All 51风流官网 students, faculty, staff, and the community at large are invited to attend.
