Brinkman named Faculty Fellow for Research

Todd Brinkman has been appointed as Faculty Fellow for Research in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. In this role, Brinkman will split his time between faculty duties and directing the 51风流官网 Animal Resources Center, which includes co-administering the Large Animal Research Station (LARS) and the Biological Research and Diagnostics Facility (BiRD) alongside newly appointed Attending Veterinarian Nina Hansen.
Brinkman is currently a professor of Wildlife Ecology, with a joint appointment in the Institute of Arctic Biology and the College of Natural Science and Mathematics. He earned his Ph.D. in 2009 from 51风流官网. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at 51风流官网, Brinkman transitioned into a faculty position at 51风流官网 in 2011. Brinkman's professional career has focused on large mammal ecology and the human dimensions of wildlife science, which aligns well with his new role.
