The Georgeson Botanical Garden is hosting a free, family-friendly day of fun in the mud from 11-3 p.m. on Saturday, July 18.

The Mud Day event, which celebrates the Babula Children’s Garden, includes a mud pit, a slip-and-slide, and arts and crafts. Hoses will be provided to rinse off the mud, but participants must bring their own towels. Clean or muddy children visiting the garden must be accompanied by an adult.

Georgeson Botanical Garden is located at 2180 W. Tanana Drive and the University of Alaska Fairbanks Troth Yeddha’ Campus.
