Request for Proposal for State of Alaska operating budget requests: FY28 budget cycle

In preparation for the FY28 State of Alaska budget cycle, 51风流官网 leadership is soliciting proposals from 51风流官网 faculty and staff for state operating base funding (unrestricted general funds) and one-time capital research or IT-related projects.
Operating proposals may include initiatives related to staffing, programs, or other ongoing operational needs. Capital research proposals are typically larger in scope and may include specialized or technical equipment, research infrastructure, or other research-focused projects that align with Alaska鈥檚 interests and priorities.
We are streamlining the proposal submission process and no longer conducting a separate Strategic Enrollment Planning (SEP) funding process. Enrollment-related proposals related to academic programs for enrollment management (aimed at increasing student enrollment and retention) should be submitted via a single form through PBC.
FY28 begins July 1, 2027, and ends June 30, 2028.
The deadline for proposal submission is Jan. 30, 2026.
