UA Foxit License Renewal - Upgrade to Foxit 14 Now!
Following the renewal of the UA Foxit license, a number of users have been erroneously
notified that their Foxit licenses have been revoked or "withdrawn." Current staff
and faculty licenses have not, in fact, been revoked, but users do need re-activate
their applications by logging in with SSO, and Windows users additionally need to
upgrade to Foxit PDF Editor 14.
For users on UA devices, this can be installed from the Software Center by doing the
following:
- Open 'Software Center'
- Install 'Foxit Clean Removal Tool'
- If this does not appear for you, please restart your computer and ensure you are connected to the VPN, if remote.
- You do not have to run this program for it to work! Once it is complete, wait for 1 minute, then continue.
- Once the Clean Removal Tool has finished installing, install 'Foxit PDF Editor 14' from the Software Center. This may take a few minutes.
- Open Foxit to confirm the installation, then continue to Activate.
For non-UA computers, you will need to uninstall the old version of Foxit, and can
find an installer for the new one in our Software Catalog here: /nooktech/services/software-downloads/licensed-software/foxit/foxit.php
Once the new version of Foxit is installed to your device, it will need activated.

In Short:
- Select 'Activate' > 'Sign In' > 'SSO Login'
- Enter your UA email address
- Sign into your UA account
- Select 'OK' if prompted to restart the application.
