You're invited to be here right alongside your student as their 51�� adventure begins. Ask questions, gather information and get to know the place where your student will spend their next few years!

Attendance to Parent and Family Orientation is encouraged, not required. However, all new students taking in-person classes in Fairbanks are required to attend Orientation.

8 a.m.—5 p.m. Alaska time		Residence Hall Move-in
5:30—7:30 p.m. Alaska time		Dinner Location: Dine49 Grab a bite to eat. Make sure you have your meal ticket handy to cover the cost of your meal.
7—9:30 p.m. Alaska time		Pub Social Location: Wood Center Pub

8—10:15 a.m. Alaska time		Resource Fair & Breakfast Location: Wood Center Mall Meet the offices and programs at 51�� that will help you achieve your academic and personal goals.
10:30 a.m.—12:30 p.m. Alaska time		Welcome / Academic Recognition Location: Davis Concert Hall
12:30—1:45 p.m. Alaska time		Partnering for Student Success Location: Wood Center Ballroom Learn ways to partner with the university to ensure your student’s success. Hear from the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, the Office of the Bursar, Nanook Advising, Career Services, and Rural Student Services.
1:45—3 p.m. Alaska time		Parent & Family Lunch Location: Dine49 Grab a bite to eat. Make sure you have your meal ticket handy to cover the cost of your meal.
3—4 p.m. Alaska time		Life On Campus Location: Wood Center Ballroom Interested in how your student can be an active member of our campus community? Learn more about student life and involvement at this panel featuring the Center for Student Engagement, Department of Residence Life, Dining, and Nanook Recreation, and Career Services.
4:15—5:30 p.m. Alaska time		Student Safety & Support Location: Wood Center Ballroom 51�� takes your student’s safety seriously. Find out how we support your student’s physical and mental health and safety during their time on campus. Hear from the 51�� Police Department, Office of Rights, Compliance and Accountability, Student Health and Counseling Center, and Disability Services.
